In this DVD Michael Pavlovich starts off by taking up where the first DVD left off and covers the new features in ZBrush 3.5 R3. After the new features are covered he takes everything that you have learned up to this point and puts it into practice by creating an entire highres character right inside Zbrush. Many techniques are used during this character creation process that would benefit almost anyone.

After the character is made he goes through many of the useful ZPlugins like Zapplink, Subtool Master and even goes through creating a turntable video of your character. At the very end there is a bonus video that takes you through rendering out passes from ZBrush and compositing them inside Photoshop.

In fact we had not ever seen anyone use the sphere method but it works amazingly well and is accurate and fast. We were all very excited to see this method and to add it to our pipeline.

Then Larry moves on to cover a few rigging techniques with a focus on easy, fast animation or posing.

Lastly Larry covers detailing the character, covering the face, ears, hands and mask.

Combined this video is more than 6 hours of training covering the cover character, Lil' Big Man. If you are looking for training to take you to the next level with cartoon characters, this video is a great tool for you. Suggested for beginner to intermediate LightWave 3D users, this video covers techniques that apply to LightWave 3D 8 and 9 as well.
